The idea for TipNow was born after the Virginia Tech shootings in 2007 where despite several disparate warning signs, nobody connected the dots. The premise was that TipNow, an anonymous reporting system will be able to gather crowd-sourced information about suspicious activity and connect the dots and possibly prevent emergency situations. It has precisely done that and continues to make communities safer.
